Perfectly normal to delay Dani when your not 100% need your body as well as poss to let that chemo do it’s job. Hopefullly you’ll get going next week xxx

Well that's end of cycle 3 week 2.
1 more week on cycle 3 then onto my last cycle ( cycle 4) next Wed.
The end is in sight for this course of treatment

Hope all goes okay today, thinking of you

Way to go Mike!
I had a brain MRI on Monday which showed that the radiotherapy doesn’t seem to have stopped the tumours from growing although they haven’t grown a lot. They cannot offer anymore treatment for my brain so this is a bit of a worry. The doctor said we could scan now and hold off on chemo to see if it’s actually doing anything for the other tumours or carry on with the plan for round 3 and scan after. He put me on the spot a bit and I did break down and said I couldn’t decide but the specialist nurse reminded me that we don’t know yet that the chemo hasn’t helped and usual protocol is 3 rounds before measuring and I tolerated round 2 much better so I decided to go ahead on Monday with the chemo. I will be inpatient Mon-Fri again with a 72 hour infusion.
Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly again and double crossed that the chemo is at least holding these tumours at bay for now x
