Before I start, I'd love to see England win, followed them all over the world seen little success. But regardless of the outcome Southgate needs to go.

Firstly style of play - With most of the teams in Germany at the moment, you know how they'll set up, how they'll attack and how they'll defend. With England its anyone's guess. Walker, Stones, Rice Bellingham, Saka and Foden all play their club football on the front foot, aggressive pressing and quick play. With England everything seems to be passive, which must be coming from Southgate.

Subs - Why leave it so late and then when we do eventually look threatening and get in front we make defensive substitutions.

The one thing I will give Southgate credit for is he seemed to have brought the players together as a team, but since the world cup the team spirit seems to have evaporated which makes me think there's something deeper going on.

Ben White chooses not to play for England and despite what Gareth says this is due due a falling out with the coaching staff. Ben White isn't your typical footballer so initially I didn't think too much about it, but as team spirit seems to be dwindling it makes you wonder if it's more than just him and there's more discord between players and coaching staff.

So who takes over, I don't know. Perhaps Eddie Howe, but I'm not convinced by any current English manager. Perhaps see how much it'd take to persuade Klopp :-)

Whoever takes over needs to address a few things and start building towards the next world cup.

To start with Kane and Walker should no longer start, because they'll be too old for the next world cup, Kane already looks like he's lost what little pace he had and when Walker's goes he's not a great defender. We need to get replacements established now, ready for the World Cup finals. Perhaps Watkins needs an extended run. Right back, Ben White if he could be persuaded to play can also cover centre half and CDM. I'm sure there must be other

We need to find a left back and decide on centre halves and allow them to establish a relationship.

But most of all we need a manager who can implement a system that gets the best out of some of the best attacking players in world football, most of who are young and have their best years ahead of them.

But for now lets just hope that we can somehow get to the final where anything could happen
