Evening entertainment

Just looking for somewhere to go after dinner that doesn't involve parks or shopping or excessive driving. It's a tall order I know but I'm guessing that somebody will have some ideas?

In particular, I was wondering whether any of the bigger hotels had any in house entertainment (live music or a show) which was open to non guests?

Don't know of any shows in the hotels, but have you considered Cirque Du Soliel (at Downtown Disney) or Blue Man Group (at Universal City Walk)? Or going to Downtown/City Walk and going the cinema?

Don't fancy Cirque or Blue Man and have already got Citywalk pencilled in. It's such a shame there are no other theatrical/musical productions in Orlando like they have in Las Vegas, you know Lion King, Mama Mia etc. I see that Beauty and the Beast is touring and will be in Clearwater next week, but it's too far.

I also thought that some of the large hotels might have some kind of entertainment or performance but I am not having much luck.

You could go to a dinner show, Outta Control Dinner Show is reported to be good. Or Check out who is playing at House of Blues or Hard Rock.
