Big night in - BBC1 on Thursday

Will you watching?

Or not ?

Or are you ambivalent about it all?

Are we suffering appeal fatigue?

Over to you ... please vote

I don't think we will, we wouldn't normally watch it in other circumstances either though.

I never watch comic relief or the likes so if it’s a similar thing, I won’t be watching. Not that I disagree with raising the money at all. I just have no interest in watching these.

I have mixed feelings. I don't tend to watch charity appeals as they show the dark side a bit too much. Too much - make me laugh... oh now it's sad... make me laugh again...

And the sad bits may hit too close to home right now.

I did vote ambivalent, but on further thought I don’t think I’ll bother. The things I’ve seen recently where they’ve tried to do usual things remotely and without an audience haven’t really been very good (for example Have I Got News For You).
I’m not really impressed by celebrities in their nice homes asking for money at a time when a lot of people have serious financial issues. I donated to Captain Tom, but that’s me all ‘Charitied’ out now. I’d rather see re runs of some older comedy classics, family films or dramas really.
