Watched this in one hit yesterday- such a good series although I felt a bit let down by the ending, it just seemed a bit rushed and I couldn't work out why he did it when he would have been the prime suspect and wouldn't have got away with it

I am glad I am not the only one who thought it was her blonde friend! I was convinced from episode 2 or 3 that she was the other woman he had an affair with as it was said so casually and never picked up on again, she looked at him strange during his first court appearance and she was very friendly with the prosecutor- I wondered if her daughter was his and she was jealous that he went on to have a baby with another woman. My theory was completely wrong lol

I think the twist was that you were supposed to think the son did it and that HG was trying to get the truth out of him.

Still, my post near the beginning of the thread that the only person who didn't do it was **** ***** now looks pretty foolish .
