We actually found one! Yay! I’ve noticed a couple near us say about leaving trinkets and collecting one, what things do people take to them?

All sorts. You can leave geocaching stuff such as traveller bugs, or tokens etc which you buy from the geocaching site. The travellers are good value for kids who can (hopefully) follow them as they go round the country or world.

We take out a collection of all sorts so can pop something in dependant on box size. Kids bought a multipack of cute erasers with emoji faces on and other kinds of swag from the poundshop. Stuff like carabiniers, mini flashlights, funky bulldog clips, costume jewellery, pen toppers, foreign coins etc.

Must always be kid friendly, nothing illicit, and not food imho.

Otherwise good to go. Size is important as you don't know how big the cache will be til you get there.

Some like magnetic micros will be so small that you only have space to initials your details on the record.

So take a pen with you.
