Returning Avis Car back to Miami Airport

Hi

We will be returning our hire car into Miami Airport.
We are coming from Orlando.
Which is the best way to do this?

Thanks

It's really easy. As you get closer to the airport there are signs to the car centre. This is a huge multi storey car park for all the rental companies. Just follow the Avis signs and there will be loads of staff waiting to take your car.

We just did this last week. When you are approaching the airport, the rental returns are over towards the left of the 3 or 4 lanes. I think Avis was on the second floor and there were different ramps going up to each floor, rather than a traditional multistorey where you keep going up till you reach your floor.

We allowed lots of time and glad we did. We planned to return the car full (when you pass the booth at the beginning of the rental you have to decide whether to accept their price to refuel or agree to return full - we didn't like their price for refuelling but can't remember what it was) We set the satnav for a petrol station in Hileah somewhere (not that nice an area in retrospect, but fortunately we had no trouble and refuelled at $2.89/gallon, having seen $2.79 everywhere else on our travels). This area was prob too far away to refuel as it was rush hour and it took us 30 mins to go the last few miles. When we got to the airport the last station was charging $3.99/gallon!
