8 seater or 7 seater?

This is probably a stupid question but which has more room? There will be 4 adults and 2 kids but will probably have about 4 big cases. I am looking at a minivan but should I pick a 7 or an 8 or is it all the one?
Thanks in advance

We are four adults and two teenage children and have always had a 7 seater, it's only the journey to and from the airport that is a bit tight for room but we have always managed to fit the cases in . 7 seater is ideal for six , would rather that than be travelling in a bigger vehicle for the rest of the holiday , just personal choice though .

The 7 seater Chrysler Pacifica has 165 cubic feet of passenger volume

The 8 seater Toyota Sienna has 150.

So although an extra seat is crammed in I would opt for the 7 seater.

I know with Alamo Brits for our 3 week period from late October an 8 seater is coming in at £835 and a 7 seater at 1250. Other periods are sometimes showing 8 cheaper than 7.
