Watched it last night, thought it was fantastic. Have to say, Queen were the best act at Live Aid! The whole stadium came alive as they performed, the way Freddie got us all singing was an amazing experience, one I shall never forget. I got goosebumps as I watched the film reconstruction of Live Aid, such a special day. Great film 😀

Just been to see this with my husband and daughter. We all loved it. Quite emotional to watch. Would have loved to have seen them perform.

Think I was born a couple of years too late to really appreciate Queen at the time, but have still enjoyed a lot of their music over the years.

Went to see the film yesterday and really enjoyed it, despite spending the last 20 minutes watching through lots of tears.

It’s made me feel that I’d like to find out even more about them. Oh and I’d like to watch Live Aid again as an adult, instead of a 14 year old.

Now, the guy who sang some of the songs in the film, Marcel Martel. WOW! Try and find 'Love of my Life' on Youtube. That is as close as you're going to hear to Freddie IMO.

Saw this last night with dh, my two ds and older ds girlfriend. All of us really enjoyed it. But someone brought thier four year old to see it! Now, for me they were not too badly behaved considering the situation, but others were clearly annoyed by the occasional noises and questions and a particularly loud I want to go home now please... now! It was a seven pm showing so we were out about ten. I just didn't think this was a sensible idea, and perhaps a bit selfish? Maybe 12a films should have a lower age limit too...

We saw darkest minds earlier this year and had exactly the same. The child sat on the adults lap for the film and as soon as it started asked if it would be scary. The adult then spent the whole film answering the child's questions about what was happening. We were not impressed and also feel there should probably be a lower age limit on some 12a films.

Went to see this on Sunday and hands down has to be the BEST film I've seen in a long time. I felt emotionally drained when I left! I was too young to see them live with Freddie but was very fortunate to see Queen with Adam Lambert in July. Such an amazingly talented band

I thought it was very watchable but the poetic licence was absurd.

Freddie had toured with Queen the year of Live Aid and did not know he had AIDs until 1987.

I read an interview with Rami about this and he said that there was so much to cram in to the two hours but they knew they had to finish on Live Aid as the climax so had to play about with the chronology to get it all in. I agree some of it was shifted about a bit much though.
