I'm glad someone has mentioned this because whilst not knowing the answer I was quite surprised that Mercury knew he had aids aa early as 85.

Have the remaining.members been consulted on this film ?

They have. Roger Taylor and Brian May are executive producers and had a massive input in to it. John Deacon has stepped away from the band but is still involved in the business side of things although very silently, but it is said that he gave the thumbs up to the film.

Went the other day with my sister. Absolutely loved the film. Was ready to sing and wave my arms to We are the Champions but everyone else sat still. Oh well just me whose nutty then.

my dad saw this with my sister on Saturday last week he then took me on Tuesday and took my dd11 last night! Dad isn't an emotional man usually but said he had a lump in his throat watching it.
When we went on Tuesday night it was on in 3 screens at our local Odeon - their 3 largest screens and it was almost a sell out all night long. I used to work there as a manager and not seen that kind of response to a movie since people queued around the block to watch the Matrix!

Absolutely loved it and desperate to go back and see it with hubby

I saw it last week and loved it.

I can remember buying my first Queen single, Killer Queen, with my pocket money when it came out in 1974 and always had a soft spot for Freddie ever since then. We'll never see another performer quite like him again

I'm going back to see it again tomorrow

As previous posters, I'm not a huge fan of Queen, but WOW! just WOW!
Truly magnificent, DD (aged 21) actually went back the next day on her own to see it again.

Just got back from watching it with DH, DD24 and DD21. We all loved it. Rami Malek was amazing as Freddie, the actor who played Brian May was a dead ringer. Thought the Live Aid recreation was amazing. As soon as we got home we watched the real thing on YouTube. The film really did do it justice
