Alamo Brits Refund

Could anyone tell me how long this usually takes to go back into your account.

I cancelled on Monday and still waiting for the refund.

I think it took 5 days to show in my account when I amended the price. Maybe it will take longer as it's the Easter bank holiday. Probably wont show up till Tuesday.

Did you get an email to confirm the cancellation?

Yes I did get an email so hopefully I will get it by then. Forgot about it being a bank holiday weekend

My record with them is 5 cancelations and rebookings!
As above though. The weekend slows things down.

I now use a Card that shows pending stuff much more clearly and it is normally into pending within 48 hours max and arrives formally the next day.

I just checked and it also looks like its being refunded on an expired bank card so I would imagine that would slow things down as well

I had that with the old Virgin MBNA card. However MBNA were very good and within 24 hours it moved across to the new Horizon card they had issued me.

Hi

I have booked with Alamo through a third party, can I still check if the price has come down?- would I do this through Alamo site. I have the booking reference.

Also does it matter if you have already done the Online check in?, I haven’t yet but I was planning to in the few days.

Who did you book with? That's who you check the price with.

I never do OLCI until 1 week before we fly for that very reason.
