If I knew what you both looked like you probably would see us as we will be there a lot! We are there for the last couple weeks of March... Glad you have experience on the weather front, nearest I had personally was Fuerterventura in mid April. Enjoy Tenerife, I am feeling skint after paying for flights and villa deposit for Lanzarote and then the day after a couple of grand on our park tickets for October!

Only done towards the end of Oct and that was fine, we had a wet day which iv never had before but the normal cloudy morning and sunny afternoon. Light cardigan some evenings.

I found it an easy drive, there is one “mountain” road that’s a bit hairy, but nothing really to worry about (Just don’t look down).
There’s a few populated areas you drive through but mostly ‘A’ type roads.
Took us about 30 mins from airport to Playa Blanca.
Enjoy. We have booked again for March as we enjoyed it so much.
