Mogan is very nice but also very quiet at night, too quiet for us, it’s great to visit in the day and the restaurants are fabulous, the muscles in cafe de mogan are super! Past 10pm everyone is sleeping!

Puerto Rico is great (I have many friends there) when we’re on a mates weekend! It’s basically a huge shopping centre with bars and restaurants, ok for a family meal etc but it’s not visually nice in any way!

The best family are is between Puerto Rico and mogan, amadores beach area is great, pristine beach, good hotels and you can get a taxi into Puerto Rico for some entertainment.

I’ve just recently been on a week long holiday to Gran Canaria with my mum, we stayed just outside of Maspalomas and we loved it. The island itself was lovely, we spent a day at Puerto Mogán which was a really nice place to visit. There were lots of shops and restaurants around where we stayed too. Overall it was a very good holiday.

Lanzarote is my fave, have been 8/9 times to both Lanzarote and Tenerife (patents had a timeshare in Tenerife) but have always preferred Lanzarote. The beaches are beautiful, we usually stay in Puerto del carmen but always hire a car & drive to Playa Blanca, the little beach down by the marina is our fave, a real locals beach, great for snorkelling!

We did feb half term in marina suites Puerto Rico. Absolutely gorgeous hotel with an amazing view. Out of the tacky town overlooking the harbour. Great beach and can walk the promenade to amadores. Also you can catch the boat to puerto Mogam which is v pretty. 100% recommend, in fact my parents have booked to return alone next feb.

Marina Suites are brilliant, a very nice resort, I have stayed there many times, the infinity pool is also a great feature.

The morasol is equally as good next door, if you walk up the hill under the arch there is an irish bar called dirty nellies, one of the best breakfasts on the island!

We have just come back from melonars in Gran Canaria , stayed half board in the lopesan baobab, fantastic hotel food was great lots of good evening entertainment, 5 min walk to the promenade would recommend it

just back from Ocean Hill in Puerto Rico Gran Canaria, fantastic hotel . Been to PR 3 times in the last 2 years - we spread mums ashes there in 2017 as her and dad visited at least twice a year for the past 20 years. We don't do night clubs etc so top of the hill is good for us away from the noise.
Maspalomas is beautiful and we might at some point do a stay there too.
Weather in feb 17 was around 24 - 28 c , Oct was 28-30c - Puerto Rico side of the island sees around 8 days of rain a year they told us when we did a tour this year.
