Disney 2022
Don't want to be the bearer of bad news but I asked Ocean Florida for a quote for May 2022, and part of this included 5 nights at POFQ, apparently prices were released last night (?) and there will be no free Disney dining (but you can pay for dining packages), fast passes or magic hours ever again (?!) i'm not sure how they can predict ever but it looks like this might be the case for 2022 Hopefully if bookings are down they may have to bring some of the incentives back or just lower their prices. For us it probably means we will just stay in a villa for the whole time.

I don't thnk that you're the bearer of bad news but maybe the bearer of a travel agents fibs. Both Port Orleans resorts are currently closed with no opening date in sight and its too early to book flights for your dates.
I'm mystified into how Ocean Florida have managed to give you a quote for May 2022. I can only guess that they've quoted for May 2021 and then added a hefty sum based on guess work. Edited at 09:03 PM. Reason: Missing word added |

Seems strange them saying prices have been released when on the Disney site there are no dates showing beyond December 2021 at present, but nothing ever surprises me these days. Just thought I would check as I am looking to move my current booking for September to next year due to the fact that I have not worked due to covid closure since last March (I work in theatre) and so finances just won't stretch this year

I'm guessing that Pinocchio told them or the mysterious Disney Reps that seem only to appear at certain TA's

Disney have already announced Extra Magic Hours aren't coming back but hotel guests will have entry to any park 30 minutes before opening. I'll definitely miss evening EMH but I guess this is better than nothing...
Fast Passes I'll be surprised if they decide to not bring them back at all when crowds are back to normal. I do wonder though if they'll maybe go for something like MaxPass at California instead? I'm also waiting for May 2022 prices but I wouldn't put much trust in what TAs are saying at the moment - just going to wait until Disney release them. |

My goodness what a pack of lies, I don’t use TAs anyway but if I did that is one I would add to my avoid list.
Disney have not released 2022 prices. POFQ is shut and is not available to book as it hasn’t got a reopening date. Paid for dining packages have not yet been released, there is no news on free dining, no news on fast passes, no announcement that changes to EMH are permanent ... no organisation would commit to permanent changes. My personal opinion is that paid for dining will be available next year and free dining won’t be, but it is just my opinion and is no more factual that what the TA told you. |

After the trouble I had with getting a refund from Ocean Florida I would not believe a single word that they say unfortunately. Nobody knows what is going to happen in 2021, let alone 2022.

This is slightly incorrect...
if you book with Virgin Holidays (NOT Virgin Atlantic) or TUI you can get Fly drive and Non Disney resorts booked right now. As with others... I feel that Fast passes will be back - I suspect it may be Jan 202. Dining will be back, but free dining might not be. I've never actually crunched the numbers to see if free dining is worth it Vs paying for it and getting room discount Vs not doing dining at all (I get the convenience of it) and paying as you go... If you look at what Disney is doing in general... its looking where it can cut items... The parks are "busy" right now with domestic only. The international guests are desperate to get back, so there is no need to add a push from Disney to get you on property. Maybe 2024 when the initial rush has died from all of us having got our fix, it might need that extra push to squeeze that extra dollar out of you... Back to the original poster... I deem that mixed info. some truth, some half truths (based on educated guesses) and outright lies. |

You have all confirmed what I thought, as we all know things in the current climate change all the time so how they can say 'never' baffled me! Think I will wait and book DIY as we normally do, I just wondered what their prices would be like and if booking with an agent would give us any kind of security and ease if things were needing to be cancelled/postponed but from what I have read above it would appear not! Thank you everyone for your replies
