Anyone been to Puerto Plata? or near there? Not sure what the place name is though!

The hotel is :- Bahia Principe Resort-San Juan
if that means anything to anyone?

Any info would be appreciated & Also, ANyone flown My travel long haul?

FANTASTIC! absoloutely love dom rep, beautiful sandy beaches and lovely warm sea. Have stayed in Puerto Plata too, not at that hotel but they are all very good standard. you'll love it

Oh Aye - only going for a week to the DOM , at the end of the month (dont miss me too much )

well i was supossed to be dom rep also in 9 days. couldnt help but book disney tho instead.
hope you like a relaxing holiday with not much else to do but lie on a beach all day, totally diffeent experience to florida. organised excursions are goo but can be quite expensive, and wouldnt recommend wandering alone outside hotel complex as can be a bit rough!
