Parc Asterix
Off to DLP in a few weeks and wondered if anyone has been to Parc Asterix, as I've seen some offers on day trips there and wondered if it was worth a visit?

we went there a couple of years ago when it was still part of the toursaurds group thought it was very disappointting probably down to the theming looking pretty shabby, not sure who owns it now. It might have got better who knows.
Sorry not a lot of help I do remember we only stayed about 4 hours. But we did have a tusards annual pass at the time so we didn't was any money on it. as we were going on to Disney anyway. just could get those four wasted hours back

We quite enjoyed it, the Zeus rollercoaster is probably one of the best wooden ones we have been on. It is a little shabby comparied to Disneyland, but still a fun day out. One word of warning, they have no Fastpass system so expect long queues if it's a busy time of year.
Their Hotel is excellent BTW, can highly recomend it. Our photos are on my signature. Jonathan |

We went about 5 years ago when my children were 8, 6 and about 1 at the time. Having been to Disneyland Paris I am always a bit sceptical about the standard of other theme parks but we were pleasantly surprised with PA. We had a great time there and thoroughly enjoyed it. There are some nice witty touches about. We have tried to go and visit again at the end of a couple of our French holidays but unfortunately been disappointed to find that it is closed (just). This was at the beginning of September. Opening times may have changed since we last tried to go.
Anyway, in short, we would heartily recommend it! Crystal |
