Mobile Foods from your childhood. ...

That others find disgusting.
So conversation in the office turned to food yesterday and a couple of us oldies mentioned some meals that the younger members found repulsive
For me it was Stuffed Hearts. Still eat today, DW refuses to buy or cook them, so Mum tends to freeze a couple when she cooks them and sends them over.
Also loved bread and dripping but you don’t really get it now as all fat seems to be removed from beef before you buy it

Love a stuffed heart.

Raising the bar - pigs trotters and finally pig head, which my grandmother cooked, made a brawn out if the brain and i remember picking the teeth out of the jaw. Both were so so good.

Liver, so disgusting. I remember I could smell it as I approached my house after school and think ‘oh no’.

Rabbit stew, hated it. My mum used to try and tell me it was chicken.
I used to stay at my gran and grandads every Friday night and my grandad would always give me a big spoonful of malt extract. Also rhubarb he pulled straight from the garden with a paper bag with sugar in it.

I love stuffed hearts, did try to get my children to eat them but only one liked them. Only like liver with onions in a casserole dish, haven't had either for ages now.

Loved rabbit stew. No longer allowed it as the girls have 3 rabbits as pets
