Tunisia ... What's changed.
I've heard if so many people taking their holidays in Tunisia this year but I'd love to know what has actually changed?
Yes it was only one event but it was one horrific event on innocent people. Has anyone been recently? Thanks

We've been looking for a cheap and cheerful week away at Easter and Tunisia is by far the cheapest destination that I've found. I've looked at some Trip Adviser reviews and it totally put me off. I get the impression that due to the lack of tourism and income the bars, shops and restaurants in the holiday resorts are only just starting to open up and the hotels are looking a bit shabby.
I've been to Tunisia twice and wasn't too keen before the incident so it won't be somewhere I'll go back to anytime soon. |

It's not somewhere I'd be drawn to either just wondered what it was that was pulling tourists back and how/ if they had increased their security.

Sounds like price. I went twenty years ago, but it won’t be on my list any time for the foreseeable.

Went many years ago and wasn’t for me.
The station I work in now, the property officer and his wife, were the ones shot in the attack, to hear him talk about it even now is horrific. Not for me Jules

I went 7 years ago, its not somewhere i'd go to again if i'm honest. Its nice to experience somewhere different but i wouldn't be jumping on a plane there again.
Plus it was blistering hot when i went, 42+ degrees and i was suffering |

We went to the Delfino in Hammamet last June with Thomas Cook. Yes it was cheap, but we had a relaxing week staying on the small complex but others went shopping in the town centre and said they felt at ease. Really couldn't fault the hotel for what we payed. There was security out at sea and occasionally police went along the beaches on quad bikes. I would return to Tunisia.
