We're hoping to go April 2021 with my partners family, will be their first time.

Planning 7 nights in CBR as we love the skyliner. Just waiting for Disney to release prices now... If it's much more than we're expecting we will end up staying at a value resort and paying to upgrade to the QSDP.

We are hoping to go July/August 2021 (tied to school holidays!)
We stayed at CBR last summer (our once in a life time &#129315 and it cost us £7,500 with free QSDP. That’s 2 adults and 2 children. We’d like to do the same but DD1 will be 11 so price will rise for that. Hoping to get it for 14 nights for 8k ish. We will want to do Universal and a nights stay there some where so that will be extra so can’t really afford more than that for Disney!
If not need to re think for either a cheaper moderate or AOA with upgraded dinging plan to QS.

Edited to say this included TUI flights, we did it as a package

We did 14 nights at OKW studio with ddp in 2018 for £8500. Am I right in thinking OKW wasn't released with free dining last time?
Our kids wouldn't share a bed, so ideally we need a room that sleeps 5, so theres a sofa bed, or one with bunks, or we're looking at a 1 or 2 bed villa ...

The wait is killing me too. 🥺

We are a group of 4 and are hoping and budgeting for £2500pp for the Disney package for 2 weeks in July 21 for flights hotel, tickets and hopefully free Ddp)! Can anyone tell me if they think this is realistic?!

We would love Beach Club or Fort Wilderness cabins! But equally if budget doesn’t allow we would be happy with a moderate resort as we loved PoR and CBR. We paid £2300 approx for Aug 19 at CBR so hoping this isn’t unrealistic!

Going back in 2021 for hubby’s 50th and will most likely be going back to Animal kingdom lodge as we love it there. Are we expecting free ddp to come out in April as it usually does?

Seems realistic, the hardest part I think is that you commit to Disney before flights are released, so you're banking on them coming in at a reasonable price. Unless I guess you do a package... in the past I've budgeted £600 pp for flights and been prepared to go indirect (during school holidays). Previously I've managed £500 pp with one direct and one indirect flight.

Yeah I think that's the hardest part. We booked with the fantastic My Magic Holidays instead for our trip in Aug 19 so I would be very happy to book with them again if the price was right. Would it be the same with this package though in the sense that we would have to book the package without flights then add on later?

If free dining is announced for next year we’ll be looking at 10 nights onsite in a 1 bed at OKW (will probably book AKL at release and hope to change to OKW once released). Then we’ll do 10 nights off site in a villa. Looking at August for 4 people. It’s a treat for paying the mortgage off . If no free dining we’ll stay off site in a villa.

For sure, we got a great deal with Virgin last year, but for Universal rather than Disney, think they're the only ones now who can sell flights early, and I've never found them cheap for WDW.

We’ve stayed at wilderness lodge in a courtyard view, was lovely and its our fall back if we can’t get BC. Great to get the boat over to MK.
My issue is that the location of YC is perfection. I worry that I would make a mistake as it’s close to two parks that we can easily walk to.
