Home Bargains Wickford & Co large candle in Candy Cane is a direct dupe of the YK one

£2.99 for the large Candle and I have been burning it today ,

It also doesn't seem to create the black ring some YK had started to do on the edge of the Jar

Does the scent actually carry? I like the Wickford & Co candles, but the last few I bought, I haven't been able to smell them at all while they are lit.

I've found that too, they smell nice in the shop but don't smell of much once they're lit. I've started buying YC when they're on offer and the YC shop in our local shopping centre have some Christmas ones half price at the moment.

I have got some autumn/winter Glade candles on order with my grocery shopping from Asda. I got a cinnamon one last year from Walmart and it was wonderful. You could smell it even before it was lit so I hope these are the same.

I blew it out at 3:30 yesterday afternoon and could still smell it in the hall when I came home at 7pm
it isn't really strong but gives a definite pepperminty smell
