SeaWorld

Hi

Has anyone done SeaWorld in a day and is it possible? Two young adults planning on going for one day only and wondered if It’s possible to get quite a bit done?

Thanks

Yes it is if you are there for opening and it's open late just takes a bit of planning around the shows

Been a few times and only going for one day this year with a friend who hasn't gone before. We won't be doing any rides as we have booked dolphin feeding and penguin encounter and hopefully seeing 3 shows. Probably be there all day as it is such a lovely park. When you say young adults I assume they will want to do the rides as well, which will probably take up a lot of queuing time, but worth the wait! Have a look at the downloadable map to get a good idea of exactly what they want to do and then you will be able to plan your route out. Well worth a visit, and hope they do all they want

It depends on the time of year you go but I've always managed it easily.

If you buy the skip the line bands then you can save quite a bit of time if you want to ride all the rides. (apart from Infinity falls which isn't included yet)

Definitely doable

You can do all the shows in a day (it tells you on the park map how to do this as some clash at certain times of the day)

Of the rides, Mako and Kraken are never that busy (not sure why Mako is not more popular as it is the best coaster in Orlando). Some of the other rides do get busy.

Best approach is get there for opening and go on Manta first. Then go on Atlantis and the Antartica Penguin ride. Infinity Falls and Mako open at 10am so head there when they open.

Turtle Trek and Wild Arctic can be fitted in around the shows as they don't get that busy either.

That will leave you some time to go on Mako a few more times.

We have been for one day only on our last 4 visits and have managed to do everything we wanted to do. Never felt rushed. Did Infinity Falls first during our October visit last year. After that queues for the other rides were really short.

The only limiting factor at SW really are the show times as sometimes on quieter days it can be hard to do every show due to the long walking times between them.

We were there last august and got about 10 rides each on Mako, Kraken and Manta and did the Shamu, sea lion and dolphin shows and still had time to mosey around a bit.

I would say yes assuming the weather is being kind, we went on July 3rd and it was nice busy not overwhelming, however come late afternoon rides closed for thunderstorms and after about 2.5 hours we gave up and went home, no ones fault. We returned yesterday morning and completed the bits we’d missed but I think we could have done it all in a long day.
Agree with an earlier post re. Queues for Mako, we went a couple of times and hardly waited, can’t understand why!

Probably due to the height restriction which means most children under 10 cannot ride.

Mako is an awesome coaster - best in Orlando😀
