2 quick ESTA questions

3 of us are flying on 16th of July returning to Ireland 6th Aug 2020 ESTAs expire April 23rd 2021 so I assume no issues here ?
My son aged 27 is flying to Orlando in April 2020 and will be returning in April 2020 his dates are not finalised yet. His ESTA expires in May 2020 so Presume he needs to renew Before he goes ? Thanks in advance

If he flies in April and it expires in May then he should be ok. You only need it to enter country.

IF he�s flying in April and his Esta expires in May there is no need for a new one. The Esta only needs to be valid for the day of entry.
