We did - but we stayed outside in an airbnb and had a car. So we managed to get around a fair bit (we were there a week!). I loved the Chihuly museum as well as the aviation one and the Boeing factory.

I actually preferred it to Vancouver. My Canadian heart though is in Quebec - though VI is a close second!

I was interested in the aviation museum, we were discussing using Seattle as a jumping off point for another trip so would like to see that if we do go back, but I’m not sure we’d stay in the city itself.

I haven’t been to Quebec; Montreal is on a list for future.

Really enjoyed reading along. Shame the chowder wasn’t that exciting, your other food looked lovely. Seattle photos were great, I liked all the glass too.
How exciting you have got to book your cruise...do you think seeing the ship did the trick?

Thanks for reading and for all your comments along the way.

I have mentioned to DH I want to try a Disney cruise several times so I just decided to have a look and there happened to be that worked with our dates, is only 4 days (in case we don’t like it) and goes to places I want to see but where DH will never want to spend a long break. When I put it like that, he just sighed and told me to book it!

It’s such a great place! We are thinking about going back next year if travel is allowed. we haven’t done much of Victoria so that would be our focus.

Thank you very much for sharing your great trip report with us. I am off to Vancouver in October, staying at Hotel Blu, so was of a particularly good help to me . Would love to do the train journey into Seattle, but of course not possible at the moment. I love trains, and the scenery looked lovely. Thanks again. So excited now!

We are now planning to go back to this part of Canada next year, as this was our second visit and there’s still a fair bit we haven’t explored! Victoria is on the hit list for next time. It’s a gorgeous part of the world.

Thanks for reading and have a great time!
