I saw some helicopter B&Bs recently. You can stay in an ex-Navy Lynx or ex-Search and Rescue helicopters

We like Crab Manor between Thirsk and York - all the rooms are themed for different hotels around the world and many have their own hot tub and sauna. The decor in the main manor house and onsite restaurant (Crab & Lobster) is really quirky.
There's a free hidden beer pump for residents too!
