I’m not that keen on mince pies.
However, I think Costco’s are delicious. A pastry case filled with small layer of mincemeat, topped with a light sponge and a sprinkling of icing sugar.

Greggs are good, very big though so we’d often share one. Sainsbury’s ecclefechan tarts are very good too

I may have partaken in one or two (dozen) mince pies already this festive season 😳😳😳
So far I would recommend Asda Exra Special and the award winning Iceland ones 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Not so fussed on Wairose mini ones (nice pastry but more air than filling), and the worst of the year have been Bookers Cash & Carry ones (that you can get from Premier / Londis etc) 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

We have tried the Iceland one and many others. Greggs are are still the best for us.

these are lovely and tweakable, we make them ourselves on Christmas eve
bbc/blogs/food/2011...-preview.shtml although ours end up about 18 times the size of these and a bit messy - but best yet.
