18 days with 14 day park tickets - what would you do?

As the title, we have 18 days stopping in a villa (our first time for both) but getting 14 day park tickets for Disney and universal. How would you use them? Cant decide whether to spread them over 18 days or have some non park days at the end...

Non park days at the end head to the Beach to recover.
Clear water is fab.

Ps the ticket will expire 14 days from the first use.
You can use on day 15 if you have one day off at some point.

Yes sorry, just updated my original post to say spread over 18 days. Dunno whether to have 14 day Disney, then start universal later so we have all 18 days covered or whether to have some spare days

We always use our Disney tickets first. First day is always MK
Then after 4 days you can start to use the universal tickets
We love park days. We don’t need rest days or beach days especially when staying in a villa because you can just spend a morning or an evening in the parks and rest round the pool the rest of the day.

We always stagger them, you can still go to the beach but at least you will have a choice of going to a park at the end if you want. Not sure if you know but the Disney tickets will last over 15 days as long as you only go to the parks on 14 separate days.

Edit - apologies for repeating info... must learn to read the other posts

You have options, which is always nice.

As you have Disney and Universal 14 tickets you could use 1 for days 1 to 14 and the other for days 5 to 18?

Or take a chilled recovery day on the first full day. As you are likely to be up early you could head to shops and stock up, make use of the villa pool, have lunch in the villa and maybe go out for an early meal around 5pm.

The idea of a couple of beach days at the end is a good one too.

It really depends on what you enjoy, I know we will be heading to Universal for opening on our first full day, but that’s just us and we are only going for 14 days. We tend to build in ‘rest’ days such as Discovery Cove, Aquatica and a beach trip to Caledesi State Park spaced out to give us a break.

We are going for 20 days and have 14 day Disney/Universal. We intend to start ours around day 3.

We usually do Disney springs on the first day to get a quick Disney fix without over doing it then we will probably go shopping day 2. We are having 3 beach trips with one right at the end to chill before we come home.

We stagger when we have Universal tickets and DC ultimates (don’t do Disney).

We mix our beach and other away days/ overnighters amongst the primary attraction.. the parks.

We’re going for 20 nights and have 14 day Disney tickets and 4 day Universal. We’ll use our Universal tickets during our stay at HRH. Our Disney tickets we’ll start using after the Universal stay. Our 1st 4 days will be park free.

For us, this looks like:
Day 1-4 no parks
Day 5-7 Universal
Day 8 onwards Disney
