Mobile About to book for 2021

I’m nervous about it as there are so many possibilities of this not going ahead but I’d rather fix the price in. £3,847 2 adults, 2 children, BA flights from LGW at Cabana Bay. I’m aware that these flights could change to LHR.

Am I crazy booking during this pandemic?

I was speaking to a staff member from a local travel agent who said they expected to be dead other than moving bookings but they've been working overtime from people booking holidays (This wasn't just Disney but still)

I think there needs to be something you're looking forward to, probably worth booking it towards the end of the year to be safe if you're nervous.

I just don’t think I’ll get it this cheaper the later I leave it. I can afford to loose a few hundred pounds deposit then thousands of pounds but still nervous!

I don’t know. We were looking at February 2021 earlier but DH is not for even discussing it yet. I think you need to ask yourself how happy you’d be to forgo the deposit if it came to it. Is it £350?

We have also booked a holiday for Easter with a low deposit. It was a really good price, so fingers crossed everything is ok by then!

Yes it’s £350! I’d be more gutted about not being able to go than loosing the money. I think it’s a gamble but I think I will take the risk, not get my hopes up too high and anything else is a bonus.

We booked for Feb 21 in March after restrictions were put in place, BA fly drive for £1700, was worth the risk and will lose the £300 if it comes to it. I am not getting carried away with any sort of plans just incase it doesn't happen, but at least if things are more back to normal, we will have something to look forward to.
