Wow- prices are through the roof.

Just looking at 14 nights next summer to see how much for 2 adults and 2 kids. These are hotel prices only (17 July, 14 nights), do dining, tickets or flights:

Caribbean Beach- £3200 standard room.
Animal Kingdom standard- £5279, Savannah- £7932, 1 bed- £15,778.
Wildnerness Lodge standard- £6300.
Beach Club- Garden or Woods - £6500, water -£7500, 1 bed - £11,564.
Boardwalk Garden View - £7742 (that is ridiulous, I am paying £150 a night for a 1 bed suite in dues on my DVC at Xmas).
Poly standard- £8316, 1 bed £20580.
Standard rooms at Grand Floridian and Contemporary- circa £9500, 1 beds £18,000 to £20,000.
Riviera (this is the best one) only a 3 bed Grand Villa- £35,000.

Even the All Stars are £2000.

I think a lot of families will be priced out- very sad. Basically for next summer holidays in Beach Club say, with flights and tickets a family will be talking £12,000 plus all meals and spending- even if act frugally when there, is best part of £15k.

How do you get to the US site? I used to do it by changing the language on the left hand pop out menu but it only shows UK and Ireland now. I’m interested in having a nosey at 3pm ... although I’m sure the website will have its usual technical issues 😂

Think you have to use a VPN nowadays.

I think that this is why people are hoping that they will offer some sort of package/deal. These are the full rack rate (I think). It has been these same prices for months. And, as you say, really high. In 2018, we got 11 nights at SSR for 2700, which included free dining. CBR was something like £1900 for the same. It is pretty insane how much more expensive prices are at the moment (£600+ for CBR with no dining; POFQ is £2700, without dining). We did get a good deal, I know, but even still.

I'm confused. Nothing has changed for the UK prices has it? Still full rack rate?

Those are the current prices the new ones have been released on the US or (if they are) UK site.

edit.. looks like they are available on US site now. Although prices seem to be full rack rate.

The prices have absolutely shot up because I was looking at Feb 2021 £3600 for 2 adults AOA Inc tickets and dining (when it was still on the website not that long ago)
Now it's £3500 WITHOUT dining. 10 nights.

Wow.

I used a VPN app on my phone.

Prices for next year on the dates we have don't seem to have changed on UK site.

Thanks! Tried VPN on my surface pro to no avail. But interesting to hear it's just rack rates. Seems they want to recoup some money early and get some interest from the US visitors. Can't justify booking at rack rate, looks like renting DVC may be the way forward for us 2021
