28th August - Virgin flight cancelled from Heathrow

The dreaded cancellation email. Despite them saying they were beginning flying to Orlando on the 24th August?

Oh well, at least now we can apply for a refund. The email doesn't actually mention a refund, it just talks about a credit to our account.. surprise surprise..

Anyone else had a cancellation after the 24th August?


edit: return flight from Miami hasn't been cancelled though annoyingly

I've just posted that I had an email with them cancelling my return flight on 19th Sept but nothing about my outbound flight on the 5th!

got a flight home from Miami which hasn't been cancelled

Outbound on the 29th Sept cancelled here too. No mention of refund also.

This does not surprise me that this is now cancelled, we were due to go out on the 28th - TBH I had no faith in this happening once they announced the cancellations up to the 24th so we rearranged for next March oddly enough though my new March flights are no longer on the website to book despite going through my booking and there being plenty of seats available - all flights now showing are indirect no direct flights, not sure what the heck is going on

I've just had the email about my return flight on Sept. 25th. Nothing about the outbound and it's not reflected on the website either.

My colleague has just had MAN-ATL cancelled on 13/10 so it doesn't look good for service resuming in the next 3 months.

Our flight 13/09/20 cancelled and no mention of outbound flight.

Email does say that the Virgin system won't reflect any changes until this weekend to check whats happening.
