Pie & mash with green “liquor”.

A real east London delicacy which all my family love but I can’t abide it.

Now they’ve all moved from east London, they are on a continual search for the best pie and mash in their local areas ! Did you know you can also get frozen pie and mash in Sainsbury’s ?

Can’t cope with very spicy foods, never understood the “joy” of chilli peppers... in curries tikka masala or korma is as spicy as I go, why eat something so hot that you can’t actually taste it... also never fancied oysters or jellied eels...
Love pork crackling and crispy chicken skin, but can’t bring myself to eat crispy fish skin...

Me too - it could be genetic!

There is a variant of a gene that makes coriander taste like a soap with a metallic edge to it to some people. I am one of them.

Any milky pudding ie custard, rice pudding, tapioca. A lot of puddings actually especially if a sponge mixed with say custard, hot fruit or icecream, trifle. 30 years married and DH rarely gets pudding

Any sort of meat. I don’t get why people fetishise it so much. It’s literally a dead thing’s flesh. Ugh.
Also not a fan of creamy desserts/sauces or donuts.
