Forums for Aspergers teens?

not so much a forum suggestion but have you thought about caamhs and asked them if they offer a group for teens ? or know of anything like a youth club that would be appropriate for your son to go along too

I know ours caamhs offer this they have a once a week meet up for teenagers with a counsellor present, it has activities and talks tailored to each individual need along with CBT

it gives the kids a chance to meet other teens like themselves who struggle socially

we also have a youth club/ teen café centre that works with including young people who have autism and other disabilities, this place has computers, pool tables, music and of course a café, my friends child goes here and it's very popular

Thanks Mazz, I'll look into that, it would be ideal if he could find something like that locally as he has zero social life outside college.

Wrongplanet is pretty active and is very friendly. It has children through to older people(like 50+) and all parts of the spectrum so covers lots of things. It has sections for pretty much everything, general autism discussion, video games, movies, sports etc etc Love and dating and the adult issues/discussion are a bit weird so I avoid them but the rest are very good.
