Mobile My chilli needs a kick!

What do you put in yours to give it extra flavour? I’ve heard of chocolate but never tried it!

Thanks

Ground cumin, ground coriander, chilli, bay leaf, oregano. Never tried chocolate though.

Ooo, I might try it next time. Is that all you need, just a square?

Im with the chocolate chili combo.

My kids used to eat a lot of chilpeta. Chilli (made without kidney beans and with small amount of very very pure dark chocolate) mixed with cooked rice and a tin of sweetcorn. Eat with tortilla chips as a scoop. With natural yoghurt and salsa. Can make it quite spicy this way as the sweetness of the sweetcorn tones it down for kids.

I know some people who put mashed cooked aubergine in it to make the texture smoother. But then again they do part mince and part chuck steak.
