Many of us locals deliberately do it that way round as we believe it tastes better. The cream tends to slide off the jam. Besides, it winds up those Cornish who think that such things are important in the scale of things ... and some do !

I also put ketchup on a pasty!

I’m Cornish by birth (parents aren’t). It’s got to be brown sauce on a pasty 😎

I’m Cornish. A Pasty.. or a Scone.. or anything you like can be eaten in absolutely any way that suits you best.. even brown sauce on a Scone if that’s your poison! 😂
