Dogs are cheese addicts! My pom would mug you without a second thought for any cheese at all.

"Cheese" is the first word my dog ever responded to! It's definitely a high value treat here. Usually reserved for the times we need to get tablets into her!

Mine loved cheese - If they were fussy in taking any tablets/medication, I used to get the plastic cheese squares and rip a bit off and squish it round the tablet and down it went.

When I used to puppy classes there was a women who used to take a tube of primula cheese to use while training her dog. It was small dog so she found it easier to hold the tube down for it to take a 'blob' rather than bend down with treats in her hand.

Cheese spread was one of the high value treats at puppy training class. We nearly always have a tube of primula in for treats and for taking tablets. Both dogs know the word “cheese”.

One of mine loved ice cubes too, even opening the freezer drawer would have her at the side of you lips smacking in your ear waiting for a cube to chomp on.

I had a cat that loved quavers and Wotsits too
