The Steakhouse or Silver Spur

I’m after peoples recommendations please, would you go for The steakhouse or Silver Spur.

We did The Steakhouse a few years ago and enjoyed it but have heard good things about Silver Spur, would love to hear other peoples experiences.

We always go to The Steakhouse in the village, haven't tried the Silver Spur before. Another one to consider is Bistro Chez Remy, we did that in June and the steaks were good

Silver spur!

My husband was sick after eating at The Steakhouse (and he has a lead stomach!)

Silver Spurs is excellent though, great food and fantastic theming and atmosphere. The desserts are amazing also.

We tried Steakhouse a few years ago. Lovely place but our steaks were chewy and bland. May have been an off night.

We have read years of mixed reports about Silver Spur, many mentioning fatty or tough steaks. However, last visit we tried it, and paid up for the more expensive of the set menus. It was delicious, very good steak indeed, plus a lovely atmosphere.

Remy is still my favourite for steak though.
