We did a day stop on a cruise last summer to Rhodes town and loved it and said we would go for a holiday sometime. After losing 2 USA trips this year we decided to book it for August 29th and hope it would happen! We have booked the sensatori atlantica dreams resort in Gennadi.

WE were meant to be going Rhodes in September but it’s been cancelled, so rebooked for next September, we’re relived to be honest

We love Rhodes and actually got married there twenty years ago in Lindos so I suppose we are biased 😊

We arrived in Rhodes last night and it's beautiful, so pleased we made the decision to come. They have only had 4 covid cases, masks to be worn in shops and public transport, feel quite safe here and the sun is shining... now just hope that travel advice doesn't change in the next week!

We've just returned from a week in Rhodes.

We absolutely loved it - hired a car and saw so much of the island. It's beautiful

Just got back from Rhodes.
We also hired a car and explored the whole island from top to bottom.
Beautiful coastline with the brightest of blue water, and had beautiful weather too
Island is very pretty however sad to see so much litter everywhere, even on the prettiest of beaches.

Hotel was stunning and it dealt with COVID measures very well indeed, felt very safe. Would recommend to anyone. No qualms about going back there.

Flight out was great, care and attention given to make people feel safe and comfortable and avoid anxiety - not so much the flight back sadly

Hi, hotel is beautiful! (We had a top floor superior sea view room looking out over the gorgeous lagoon pool and out to sea) we felt they took the virus seriously without impinging on the holiday feel
On arrival we received a personal kit of fabric facemask, blue nitrile gloves, a bottle of hand sanitiser etc,
When entering the dining locations there was a member of staff checking that everyone used hand saitiser from a machine there, your temp is checked electronically before entry. In the actual buffet area they provide thin plastic gloves to use so that no-one touches the utensils etc.
They do TRY to keep social distancing a thing but you always get those who invade everyone else's space desoite MOST people being polite and making room.
Same as wearing masks in the public areas of the hotel - most DID - but again a select few could not be bothered.
Overall, I feel they tried their very best.
We felt very safe.

Flight out with TUI was good, flight back it was like the cabin crew couldn't care less, they literally disappeared behind their curtain as soon as they could, did nothing to address the many many passengers wearing masks below chin and under nose, and wandering around.
Mind you, since they were pulled up about it after that flight to Cardiff hopefully they will be more 'bothered' about the return flights now.
If it hasn't been for return flight I would say it was a total success!

We are looking at HOPEfully going away at start of Oct for 2 more weeks, so hasn't put us off. Only this time I WILL speak to cabin crew if the same malarkey is allowed to happen on the flight. (Hubby didn't want to make any kind of 'scene' on the flight by reporting to crew as we were surrounded by non-nose mask wearers )
