Chicken pox vaccine
Yooo hooo dibbers
So have have any if you lovely lot had the chicken pox vaccine given to your children? If so did they have any side effects etc? Thinking of having it done for my 2 year old! Thanks |

Yes my son had it a few years ago no side effects.

My son had it in January 2016 then second dose 6 weeks later. No side effects. Best £120 I've ever spent!

My 4 and almost 6 yo have nt had it. I really want them both vaccinated before our holiday but daughter (has asd) has a huge doctor/needle phobia. On top of that she’s terrified of getting the pox.

My youngest had it a couple of years ago. Chicken pox currently doing the rounds in his group of friends so we’ll see how effective it is. I know it’s not 100% but hoping if he does get it, then it would be mild!

My youngest had it in December/January, he had no side effects from it at all. He is nearly 2

I have just booked my DD7 in for this vaccination and was worried about side effects so good to read no one has really suffered
