Brick Slip mortar
Having a nightmare trying to decide what colour mortar for the brick Slip wall in our kitchen.
The fitter has just started filling with off white and it looks too much like the grey off the cupboards so I've said no. They're now needing to know which colour and I really can't pick. Do any of you have a brick Slip wall and if so what colour did you go for? This kitchen is driving me mad it's taken 2 months so far 🙄

I assume they are using a gun to apply it?
If so there are only a very limited range of colours. Maybe 4 or 5 I think. If they are using traditional mortar they can use a dye. Maybe Sandstone would like nice?

Yes he's using a gun. He said there's a buff colour but without seeing these things it's hard to decide. Photos never show the true colours.

Depends on the product range being used...
If its a Cemex range then your colour options are: cemex/coloured-mor...EaAt-TEALw_wcB If its a Parex Standard then; Black, White, Yorkstone, Sandstone, Dark Grey, Light Grey, Natural If its Parex Historic then; Dark Grey, Sandstone, Standard, Dark Brown, Light Grey, Brick Red, Yorkstone And Parex annoyingly don't show colours online which causes me no end of issues at work as architects love Parex Historic. |
