Anyone else suffered with dizzyness?

Last couple of weeks off and on I've been getting dizzy spells, mainly when I look in a certain direction quickly, it only started on a morning, but the last few days has been most of the day, some days it's worse than others, and some days I don't suffer anything at all! Also some of the evenings I have had a deep buzzing sound in one ear, and occasionly I've had quite a nasty headache.

I know I need to visit the doctor, but I'm a huge hypochondriac (which google doesn't help with!) and I'm totally convinced that I have a brain tumor or something... It's not everyday, Saturday and Sunday I had nothing, yesterday was a bad day, light headed when looking left all day and horrible headache, today head just feels a little fuzzy on the odd occasion but no headache.

I guess I'm just hoping every day that it goes away, and then when it does I calm down, but then it comes back again a few days later! Urgh I hate being so paranoid about everything!

Only thing to do is go the doctor for proper diagnosis as if its been for a while needs checking. It could be an ear infection ? that could cause those symptoms.

Get yourself booked in tomorrow

I had very similar symptoms several years ago, went to my GP and he said it was a virus that lasts for about a month to six weeks. I was convinced it was some terrible affliction but I’m still here.
Best to go to your GP if you are worried.

I suffered from vertigo last year...it felt as if I was spinning all the time...even felt sick...went to the doctor, who in turn sent me to a specialist...who had to rebalance my crystals in my ears by doing a procedure...cannot remember what it was called...
Make an appointment with your doctor...🙂

I have Meniere's disease, so can relate to all those symptoms, however, google is not your friend right now.

Your symptoms could all be from neck issues, an ear infection, eustachian tube dysfunction or a range of inner ear problems.

As you've said, you need to get yourself to your GP asap.

I would in the meantime take a note of all your symptoms, including when they happen and for how long (this will help your GP rule some stuff out). I would also watch your intake of salt and caffeine, sometimes an imbalance of either can cause issues in the inner ear.

Good luck.

I get it. Have for a long time too.
Doctor just blamed it on migraines (even though I get these symptoms separately to migraine ones) and hasn’t done anything, nor seems bothered.

I’m going to try taking some iron supplements and see if that helps

I had labyrinthitis 2 years ago - it sounds similar to how I felt.
