So sorry to read this, although i havent been through this myself, i remember getting diagnosis about my DD and her tumours, there will be tough times ahead and i sometimes think that it is harder the more medical knowledge and experience you have personally. Stay strong . X

TB right now your emotions are raw and fearful as anyone hearing the news always is, even if you have been in the nursing profession for years. Suddenly you are the one receiving news rather than giving news. Keep that in mind & how you would be helping someone else. Take time to let it sink in then realise you can now at least start to concentrate on what your team suggests the way forward will be. You will know, nowadays more people get thru such a diagnosis than ever before. You need physical & mental strength for the coming treatments, you will have down times but concentrate on staying positive. You have so many friends on here to help you thru, you can ask questions & there will always be a DIBB friend who has been there before you & can give you answers.
Pixie dust on it's way & virtual hugs whilst you wait for your treatment to commence.
