For Brits we will need flights re-instated before we can even think about it
I think they will begin with on-site visitors, and then they can do extensive checks and completely control and contain the visitors

I think they are planning mid June. I think the Jan 2021 came from some analyst person and didn’t really have any substance to it?

It seems to imply international guests can open the door with their phone and our bands will be in the room.

I had already completed the online check in for my may trip and would use an old magic band to open the door once my room number was known.

Obvious this trip is not now happening.

You can open your door using the app. my magic band was a wee bit temperamental at times and I defaulted to the app to open. I assume your magicbands will be inside your room when you arrive afterwards?

I would think the resorts and parks will open to the US public first and then gradually add international travellers. The scale of this pandemic almost means that no country is really safe right now and the volume of international travellers who want to go will be huge. I genuinely have no idea how they will manage to reopen safely on a scale that meets demand.

It says in the article that international visitors could use their phones to open their doors (a system which has been in place for some time) and magic bands would be in their rooms waiting for them.
