I would think the line with potentially the biggest impact would be:
“ a Disney resort hotel reservation does not guarantee theme park access” |

Oh for goodness sake, think that’s just made my mind up to change to universal. Imagine going to Disney and only being able to get a handful of reservations for the parks for a two week stay, not cool Disney, not cool 😡

Glad they are giving equal opportunities for all people to access the park and treating everyone with a park ticket the same regardless of if staying in a Disney hotel or not.
I know many people will think different, but offsite guests pay the same for their entry ticket as on site guests and my worry was we wouldn’t get a look in. |

“To provide additional flexibility, we are waiving Disney-imposed change and cancellation fees up to the date of check-in for reservations with arrivals through October 3, 2020. If Guests need further assistance, they can reach us at the Disney Reservation Center through our online chat feature or by calling our reservation line.”
This is what I’ve been waiting for, although might wait and see if there any offers for rebooking for next year |

Unless there was some kind of "priority" access to the parks why would anyone pay the rates Disney charge? Unless they've substantially reduced the room rates I wouldn't bother.

From my understanding Disney resort guests will have priority for the booking system, so honestly I think people will be ok.
How I read that line is don't expect to turn up on the day and walk into any park you want just because you have a resort reservation . I think sometimes we forget people don't always plan like we do and just turn up and hope.
