DS usually about £200 and £50 PlayStation annual pass but hoping nearer £100 as he has signed up for Duke of Edinburgh costing £200. We're also going to Florida and New York in Summer so saving hard.
Don't buy for adults except token present from DS to aunt's and uncles and approx. £60 on inlaws. Other kids in family approx £20 each but there are 11 of them. £10 each on 7 friends kids. DH and I usually go for £50 each. |

I have 6 kids between 4 and 17. They all get the same number of gifts to open but nowhere near the same value. A few things for the 14 and 17 would come to well over £500 each whereas £500 would buy a lot of Imaginext Figures or toys! Too much I think if it was added up!

This is us
We pay for a set of flights each year for them to visit We have 2 grandson, one of which we inherited through marriage . We spend £100 on each. One got a bike in October paid for by us so he’ll get a small gift to unwrap on Xmas day. The Older boy gets money as he loves to shop with his dad. That’s it, My dad and Husbands mother get nothing and we receive nothing same with my brother , sister in law and niece. With my niece, I do take her out when I’m visiting the U.K. and spend about£100 on her for birthday and Xmas plus lunch, we enjoy the shopping trip and spending time together more than present opening |

I aim for around £100 each on the three grown up kids, but usually end up going over so it'll probably total nearer £400. Useful stuff like socks, t shirts etc soon add up. Then I probably spend around another £200 total on my brother, Mum, in laws, nephew, neice, aunties, and daughters fiance.
We usually buy a farm turkey and get a real tree so that's over £100 for both. At least an extra £200 on stocking up on alcohol as we've let everything run low, and additional food to our normal spend. Add in extra meals and trips out over the holiday period. DH has put £100 month in a savings fund at work Jan-Oct, so that £1000 in November wage will cover the majority of the above. We'll definately spend more though, when we add up the cost of having between five and eight people in the house over several days. I've just ordered a truck load of logs for the wood burner which will be on more while we are home between Christmas and New year. Edited at 11:09 PM. |

I spend £300-£400 each on the 4 kids (14, 12, 9, 7).
Other than that we only buy for nephews, nieces and godchildren (max £20). No big food bill as we don’t do Christmas dinner and I don’t buy new decorations each year so don’t really spend much if anything on that. It’s been tough getting it all paid for this year as DH still kit able to work but I’m going to manage it if it kills me as our kids have to miss out on so much else since he’s been ill. |

DH wants a new Apple Watch - that will be joint present for his birthday and Christmas. £60 each for his mum, dad and sister. £30 each on a couple of other relatives.
I have 5 members of staff I spend £20 each on. I will probably spend £100 making up shoeboxes for the homeless in Sheffield. £200 on rail tickets to visit relatives but won’t buy any additional food or drink apart from a couple of boxes of biscuits to take into work. |

We only spend on food, as anything we particularly want we buy during the year or sales or for birthdays. Neither of us buy for family as we all came to an agreement years ago.
