Shanghai TWOV question
I understand to take advantage of this you must be using Shanghai as a stop off so can not return to the same destination you arrived from, must use the same port for entry and departure and staying no more than 144 hours. Originally I was looking at tying Shanghai with Hong Kong in the quite distant future which would definitely fit in these parameters but I have permission to price up for Shanghai only in April 2020 .
Ideally we would fly direct there and return with a stop over giving us a different destination but as it would be a short stopover does it count? Another concern is if Beijiing is a stop do we have to apply for a TWOV for there too? As it's such a short break during the Easter holidays I can add a couple of nights in Paris to ensure we follow the rules but this is yet to be authorised by the 'Head of House' lol. TIA
