Discovery Cove ...best place to sit? And other questions!
Having bought our 'Black Friday' tickets, the excitement is setting in!
What's your strategy? I've read that it's best to get sun beds before you have breakfast, but wheres the best place to bag a sunbed? Boys are 12 and 14 so don't need supervising, and will want to do everything! Have toyed with the idea of a cabana, but think we will just use the free sunbeds. Also, do you get wetsuits before or after breakfast? And snorkel masks. My boys both have their own, prescription masks. Can they take them and use them in the lagoon? And lastly, do you need to take towels? TIA x |

There is no bad place to sit. So don't stress about that. Just pick a spot. You will probably find that you are not there much as there is so much to see and do.
You can get wetsuits any time. Most people have breakfast before suiting up. They can use their own masks. You do not need to take towels. They provide them in the changing rooms. |

I don't sit anywhere apart from breakfast and lunch. It's expensive so I don't want to waste time sitting/sunbathing when there's so much to do there.

I'd choose somewhere relatively close to snacks and drinks but agree it really isn't important as there is so much to do. I looked for beds in the shade or partial shade, that was more important than the location.

I'm loving the "close to drinks and snacks" suggestion!
Thanks all x (We went in 2004, but I can remember so little of it, it's ridiculous! And I suspect it's quite different now anyway... ) |
