Mobile Anyone submitted their atol claim yet

So its not really a problem but do I need to scan any receipts/certificates etc.

My OH was also the lead name on our booking however I paid the deposit with cash. How will this work. Its no issue if we have to use his account as the refund will be going straight back out to pay our rebooked holiday. But I paid for that on my credit card so its a bit messy.
Due to us working shifts we’ll have a limited time to go through it all on Wednesday night so want to make sure I have all info ready to go

The process was quite easy for me, only made 2 payments, one deposit and then the balance, both on debit card. They ask total amount of the holiday, dates when going. date last payment made and amount, then a bank account number and sort code. No statement scans required or certificate numbers. At the end of the process i was given a claim reference number.
There were options for cash payments or credit cards. Unsure about mixed payment methods. Took less than 5 minutes from start to finish.
Good Luck.

That does seem very simple. They must be able to access accounts from the booking ref to cross check amounts paid.
Do you know if the bank account had to be the lead name passengers?

I done mines today too, very straight forward. I got the lead passengers bank details to avoid any issues with the refund.

Good luck

It wasn’t straightforward at 8am , it just kept crashing. Utter pain. Finally achieved after 45 mins.

To be fair, it was easy to complete other than there was no option for a card charge payment even thought that’s mentioned at the front.

Yes, I’ve submitted mine now - despite me submitting with Tesco 2 weeks ago. Completely mixed and unclear messages. Very frustrating.

Hi all, did you get email prompts that the TC forms were ready to fill in, or did you all just go to the CAA website and navigate from there?

I went to the website. Crashed yesterday morning but worked fine just now.

Bit weird, they say only the lead passenger can make a claim but the only identifying info they ask for is a surname - so as long as you share surnames how would they know who made the claim?

Also, when you get to the end it presents a screen with a reference number (easy to miss frankly, it's not bold or anything - terrible design) and you click next and it goes back to the start. I only was certain it was done as I took a screenshot of the reference page.

Make sure you save the reference number.

I think it’s obvious that they have access to the origin reference numbers and the other questions are to stop fraud/cross reference.

I suspect that all they really needed would be ref number and bank details.
