We did Bernards Tours in St Maarten. Really good.

San Jaun we didn't do any, we just had a walk round the old town.

Both ports have lots of shops/bars/restaurants where the ships docks.

There are lots to do if you don't do any tours

We went to Orient beach, where we spent a few hours, it is beautiful there, also the famous Maho Beach.

It was the sxm island tour ll on his site, but he's changed a few things since we went on it. Highly recommended.

Maho beach to see the aircraft landing is a must at St Maarten or get boat from cruise terminal to nearest beach too

We did Bernard's Tours too and saw both sides of the island. Well worth the money.

In San Juan we just pottered around the Old Town with a couple we met on the cruise. We actually had one too many drinks in a bar where I was adamant the bar tender was Bruno Mars... strong those drinks! A top day

We just had a stroll around the old town in San Jan both times we went... you step off the boat and you're in it.
St Maarten, again, both times we went to the same place... Maho beach. The boys loved the beach there as the waves were just sweeping them both up and down the beach. It was fun watching people and their stuff literally sent tumbling down the beach and into the sea by the planes' engines as they readied to take off.
