Another quick update.

Whilst we were eating our steak dinner last night me and DH were saying how lovely the steaks at Disney are. So we have decided to book an ADR at Yachtsman Steakhouse even though we aren’t on the dining plan.

DD has now discovered she likes fillet steak so it’s going to be an expensive evening! I have done a bit of jiggling and have booked it for one of the nights we are staying at Boardwalk Inn Villas so we can enjoy a glass or 2 of wine and wander over. The original ADR of Raglan Road I have moved to our rest day and we will get an Uber to Disney Springs.

Your plans sound fab, how lovely that your friends are out at the same time as you. The DVC rental sounds like a bargain, I reckon I could live with the clown slide for that price, plus a Boardwalk view would be fab. I hope you have a brilliant time.

So I have started to book the 30 days out fastpasses. Nearly had an epic fail as I was in the Bullring with DD doing some holiday shopping (had lunch at Fumo in Selfridges - gorgeous there) and actually forgot to book the first day fastpasses at 12 I only remembered when I was on the Dibb about 7pm. Our first day was originally planned for Hollywood Studios but at 7pm there was nothing left in the morning at all apart from the shows and no tier 1 fastpasses until late evening and on the first day we will be hitting the wall about 5pm so that's a no.

I decided to swap the days round and go to Magic Kingdom the first day as even though there was no chance of the 7 dwarves mine train, tbh it's not my favourite ride and managed to get the 3 mountains which are. A little bit later than I had hoped and we will have to do our Walmart big shop before the park but needs must.

Managed to get what I wanted at HS the next day - Rock N Rollercoaster and Alien Swirling Saucers and a token tier 2 Beauty and the Beast. Was going to abbreviate the rides then until I realised what Alien Swirling Saucers would be

I was looking at the seating plan the other day and noticed that the exit seats in the bubble were free. We had row 78 already booked in the bubble so went on live chat with Virgin to see if the £59 each price took into account the £28 each we had already paid for the bubble seats. I had to pay £177 for the 3 seats and they gave me a link to claim a refund for the £84. So exit row seats booked for the way out and we are sticking with our row 80 for the return which looks like it could be a full flight.
