Mobile Annie Marie island/Sarasota or both for the day

Apart from the beach which is what we will mainly do, what else is good there?

Definitely not enough time to do much if you’re just going for the day. Pick one and do that one, though to be honest if you’re traveling from Orlando IMO it’s not worth going for the day pick Clearwater if you’re just wanting a day at the beach. Anna Maria is far too special for just a day you’ll not want to leave... we go for a week minimum and it’s never enough

Having been to both for me I’d head for Sarasota for a day out,it’s a bit further away but it has St Armands Circle for quirky shopping and eating,it also has a great beach. It means you can save AMI for a full couple of days and really enjoy it especially Skinnies burger joint.👍🍟😁🍷🍺

Both are lovely! Anna Marie Island has a more laid back feel and is fab for a couple of days stay if you want to unwind and explore! Sarasota is a little busier, more of a vibrant feel! I’ve done both for a day before and I’ve done both for a few days stay! I think it depends what you are after for the day

Mostly after beach really. Just wanna go somewhere different. Been to Clearwater for the day and that was ok. Just a beach with a few little shops and somewhere to eat. Toilets would be good too.

Visit the Mote Aquarium if you're in Sarasota or the Ringling Museum. Both are well worth the time.
