We are just about up to speed on this. I like it it but is it me or is it another BBC mess up with the sound?
I am constantly raising and lowering the sound as it's all over the place.

I’m really enjoying it.

I find the sound awful, I end up putting the subtitles on.

Well we have given up. Very good series, well made and interesting.

However the sound is so bad we have ditched it. Such a shame but yet again the BBC seems incapable of getting the sound right on major productions. This, Jamaica Inn and SS-GB.

Gave up after first episode sound and TBH so dark, couldn’t bloody see anything, I get it’s supposed to be a “dark” story but I’d like to be able to see it. It seems the case with many programmes that actors can’t speak simply mumble, I’m just getting old

I'm sure I read somewhere the actors themselves have said that so many don't do enough Theatre where the voice is everything and thus they don't learn to be clear and to project properly.
Sad really

Switched to Golddigger instead. Now that is good. Beware the Toy Boy
